Hugs, Kim August, 2008 Sleepy LaughterI'm sitting here listening to the baby monitor from Gracie's crib, and I can hear her laughing herself to sleep. There is nothing more sweet than laughter, especially from my children. I'm growing happy babies, and that makes me smile.

August, 2008 Not Feeling WellI haven't updated this site in a month, mostly due to me not feeling well. I just don't have a lot of energy lately from being sick. I'm not sure what is wrong with me, but I am determined that at least one of my specialists will find a reason to my fatigue and body ache. I am meeting with an Ear Nose and Throat specialist tomorrow to find out if I will need thyroid surgery, "the ultrasound found a solid lump and cyst on my thyroid". I then get to have a colonoscopy done this Wednesday, because my stomach is not tolerating foods very well. I'm really not looking forward to that. I have tried to better my diet, walked 1.5 miles for at least 2 months 4 days a week, have been placed on Zoloft for possible depression, and now take many vitamins daily and none of these have made me feel better. Not too mention that I have been gaining weight like crazy and now weigh exactly what I weighed the day I delivered Gracie. It's heartbreaking. It's so confusing, because my mind is so full of energy but my body is not able to keep up. Hopefully I will be better soon. In the mean time I will keep posting pictures. She was using her right hand to dip and eat her chocolate pudding with sprinkles and holding her spoon in her left hand. All of a sudden she stopped eating and started looking under the table, under her highchair and in her highchair. She then looked at me completely confused and said...
Riley: Mamma.... where my spoon? Where it go Mamma?
Me: Riley, look in your hand...
Riley: Oh... My... Gosh... Mamma!
I explained it was ok, chocolate pudding with sprinkles can make any woman forget reality for a split second. |
